Hi Mark and Vito,

Chloe wanted to express her thanks again for the fantastic job you did on fitting her to her complete set of new clubs. She’s played two tournaments since getting her clubs and she won her High School District Championship by 19 strokes….shooting 4 under par for the two day event and today won the State Championship!

Today was the conclusion of the State Championship under miserable conditions….an inch of rain fell and it was only 45-46 degrees. We have a couple pictures (below) that give you an example of conditions….and they played summer rules yet! We also have a link to the article and picture in the local paper. She shot 3 under par for the two day event and Chloe can’t say enough how much her new clubs have meant to her game. She obviously put in a lot of hard work but having the properly fit “tools” makes all the difference.

Hip Mobility a Problem in your golf Swing?

Here is a great exercise to help with those tight hips

Hip mobility is key when developing power in any athletic movement. Golf is no exception. In golf, hip mobility is one of the most important factors to create power and is the key to drive distance. Most people lack both internal and external hip mobility which negatively affects their swing. In fact, increasing hip mobility has been shown to decrease back pain in most golfers and improve overall performance during the golf swing. If a golfer can’t rotate the hips during both the back-swing and down-swing there will be compensation in the spine and therefore negative stress that can lead to massive injury. In this video, we show you a basic golf fitness exercise called the hip windshield wiper. This exercise help strengthen the hips ability to internally rotate and will decrease compensation from the lumbar spine. This is very basic golf fitness exercise that can help a golfer increase his mobility and transfer of power
