Scotty Cameron tinkers a lot in his workshop. He grinds, bends, welds, polishes and experiments with materials to create one-off clubs in what he calls J.A.T. (‘just a thought’). Some of these conceptual ideas may see the light of day and eventually go into full- or limited-scale production.

Cool Clubs News Archive
Over the last 3 years we've reviewed and reported on numerous new product and service offerings in the Cool Clubs News section of our website. Sometimes those older stories need to be moved to Cool Clubs News Archive page so you can search for them, while allowing you to concentrate on the most current and relevant news. We've created the Cool Clubs News Archive to make that task much easier.
Whether you call it Tour Speed, Technically Superior, Totally Spectacular, or Titleist Speed Project, you should try out the new Titleist TS drivers and fairway woods. Maintaining the classic Titleist look this new generation has increased ball speed off the face to compete with other drivers and fairway woods currently on the market.
Fujikura continues to develop great shafts and the new generation Speeder Evolution V follows that trend. Slightly softer in the butt than the previous two generations the Evo V will allow for a little more feedback in the hands. From Cool Clubs’ S3 Fitting Technology proprietary database, we’ve created a launch parameters chart to show you the differences in the new Evolution V product versus earlier Evolution shaft launch dynamics.
TaylorMade is debuting a new line for the middle of the bag offering a lot of style and loft options. The GAPR’s are targeted at three different levels of players. TaylorMade defines these as LO for low handicap amateurs; MID for mid handicapers; and, HI for game enjoyment players.
The i500 iron design takes much of the same PING iron technology as the extremely popular G700 and packs it into a smaller, sleeker, more compact muscle-back appearance, providing a blade-like aesthetic with all the forgiveness you’ve come to expect from similar-style irons.
New in PING’s iron arsenal is the i210 series, which puts a premium on feel and precision for players who rely on precise iron play and want soft and pleasing contact. Patented, multi-material construction combines a 431 stainless steel head with larger and softer elastomer insert which creates 25 percent more face contact.
Unprecedented soft feel, tour-level shot-making control and optimal turf interaction on a wide variety of approach shots is what players can expect when they’re fitted for the new PING Glide Forged Wedges at any of our worldwide Cool Clubs club-fitting centers.
In the roughly six months since TaylorMade introduced its M3 and M4 line of drivers with Twist Face technology, professional players using the new drivers racked up 10 victories across the PGA TOUR and European Tour including Francesco Molinari, who most recently won The Open Championship at Carnoustie using an M4 Twist Face driver.
